Welcome.
. .
The Bull
& Butcher is
a conventional village pub. It is set back from the road
and fronted by a large village green. Opposite this is
an excellent play area which is very safe and can
be seen from the patio whilst you are enjoying your drink.
There is ample parking.
We are only one mile off of the A41, 10 miles from Aylesbury
and six miles from Bicester.
We offer a varied range of meals
such as liver and bacon, steak and ale pie, sausages and
mash and many more firm favourites but we are, perhaps,
best known for our steaks. These, and all our meats, are
supplied by our local butcher and locally sourced. Our
Sunday lunches
are second to none, with a choice of three meats
on offer and are available throughout the day. As well
as alcoholic drinks there is a wide range of soft drinks
and coffee.
The Bull & Butcher is a freehouse, and as such we
have a good selection
of beers. There are
two real ales, one of
which is always from a local brewery. and is proving very
popular.
We have two Aunt Sally teams,
two domino teams, there is a quiz
night on the 2nd
Sunday evening of each month and breakfasts
on the 1st Saturday from 9.15 until 11.30.
If you are walking, cycling or indeed any other group
why not pre-order your lunch
and this will be waiting for you when you arrive. We can
do a set price for an evening or lunch group. Please ring
and ask for details.
We also run a Comedy Club
in the village hall every two months, with new acts from
the London circuit appearing.
This is a very popular event and is a sell-out every time.
If you would like more information on this event:

Please note we are closed
every Monday excluding Bank Holidays.
